Families have been forced to flee their homes, and the need for urgent assistance has never been greater.
The Situation on the Ground:
Millions Displaced: Severe flooding has affected over 7 million people, forcing them to abandon their homes and seek refuge in overcrowded shelters or makeshift camps.
Widespread Destruction: Villages have been submerged, and vital infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and schools has been destroyed, making it difficult to reach those in need.
Health Crisis: The lack of clean water and proper sanitation is leading to the spread of waterborne diseases, further endangering the lives of those already at risk.
How HDF is Responding
In response to this crisis, the Human Development Fund (HDF) has launched a comprehensive relief project aimed at providing immediate and life-saving assistance to flood victims.
