Seeds of Hope: Education for Displaced Gaza Children

Overview

In the heart of Gaza, education is more than just a pathway to knowledge—it’s a lifeline for children who have been displaced by conflict and hardship. Thousands of children have had their schooling disrupted, leaving them vulnerable and without access to the stability that education provides.

HDF’s Seeds of Hope is and Educational Support Project is dedicated to helping 160 displaced children in Gaza by providing safe spaces where they can learn, grow, and regain a sense of normalcy.

With a cost of $135,000 per year, $850 per child, we aim to cover the educational needs of these children, offering them not only learning materials but also psychosocial support and recreational activities.

By creating safe, nurturing classroom environments, we are working to rebuild their future—one lesson at a time.

Displaced Children’s

Challenges

In Gaza, thousands of children have been displaced by conflict. Their lives have been upended, leaving them without access to education, safety, or stability. These children face:

  • Interrupted Education: Schools have been destroyed, disrupting their path to learning and growth.
  • Psychological Distress: Conflict has taken a severe emotional toll, leaving them in need of mental and emotional support.
  • Lack of Safe Spaces: Without safe environments to learn and play, these children remain vulnerable to further harm.

Your support is essential in helping these children regain the opportunity for education, healing, and a brighter future.

Donate today to give Gaza’s displaced children the education and care they need to thrive.
