HDF’s scholars come from diverse African countries, including Tanzania, Burundi, Congo, Madagascar, Somalia, and Rwanda. They gather in Kenya to pursue higher education, fostering personal growth and contributing to the development of their home countries. This effort aligns with the concept of sadaqah jariyah, the everlasting charity that continues to benefit even after one’s lifetime.
HDF collaborates with renowned educational institutions such as Al Jazari Institute, Miftaah Institute, Islamic University of Minnesota, University of the Middle East, and the Islamic University of Kenya. These partnerships ensure the delivery of quality education and the unlocking of boundless opportunities for scholars, effectively bridging the education gap.
Committed to bridging the education gap for underserved students, HDF harnesses modern technology to improve access and enhance educational experiences. For just a little over $2 per day, supporters can profoundly impact the lives of individual children, families, and entire communities through the gift of education. HDF’s support encompasses tuition, school supplies, uniforms, transportation, technological tools, and a stipend for families.
HDF supports individuals from diverse backgrounds as they pursue degrees in fields such as IT, Medicine, Engineering, and Accounting. By promoting inclusivity in higher education, HDF aims to create a diverse academic environment that nurtures social cohesion and enhances academic infrastructure for all.
HDF scholars receive consistent support and guidance throughout their four-year degree programs, fostering personal and academic growth. In unique cases, HDF may even cover initial admission costs and one year of tuition to ensure students have the resources needed for success.
Education is a powerful tool for change. By supporting HDF’s Global Scholarship Program, you are investing in the future of the Ummah, helping to create a brighter, more equitable world. Join HDF in this noble cause, and let’s work together to provide quality education to those who need it most.
