Somalia is facing a severe humanitarian crisis with widespread food insecurity, drought conditions, and displacement. Millions of people are in urgent need of aid, including food, water, shelter, and basic supplies. HDF is actively supporting these vulnerable communities with emergency relief efforts.
Community Package ($375): Feeds 5 families for 1 month.
Sustaining Hope Package ($1,000): Feeds 13 families for 1 month.
Challenges
The humanitarian response in Somalia faces numerous challenges, including insecurity, restricted access to affected areas, and limited funding. The complex political situation and ongoing violence hinder the delivery of aid and implementation of development projects. Additionally, the recurrent climate shocks, such as droughts and floods, exacerbate vulnerabilities and create additional humanitarian needs.

Rehabilitating water infrastructure, providing clean drinking water, and promoting good hygiene practices to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases.
