Salahuddin’s Dream: Between Hope and Sacrifice – San Diego

Overview

Join us for a powerful evening of inspiration, education, and hope as we explore the timeless lessons from the life of Salahuddin al-Ayyubi. Known for his courage, sacrifice, and unwavering faith, Salahuddin’s story continues to inspire generations offering wisdom and guidance that resonates deeply with the challenges we face today.

Guided by Shaykh Yasir Qadhi and Ustadh Abdelrahman Murphy, this event will connect the legacy of Salahuddin’s vision with the realities of our modern world. Together, we will reflect on what it means to embody sacrifice and hope in our time both as individuals and as a community.

In partnership with the ISOC, we’re honored to host this gathering. Alongside this uplifting program, you will also learn about the life-changing humanitarian work of the Human Development Fund (HDF)—from providing food and clean water to delivering medical care and education, HDF is committed to serving the most vulnerable communities across the globe.

HDF’s Horizons for Humanity service trips are immersive, weeklong experiences where volunteers come face to face with the realities of poverty, displacement, and resilience in countries like Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, and Egypt.

Participants will engage in hands on humanitarian projects, from food and water distribution to supporting children with disabilities and helping orphans. These trips are designed not just to serve, but to educate, connect, and inspire lasting advocacy.

This form lets us know you’re interested in joining a future trip. Once received, we’ll follow up with more information, including upcoming opportunities and the next steps.

No prior experience is required, just a heart for service and a willingness to learn.
