What We Offer: Training in tailoring, carpentry, electrical work, and small business management. Participants earn nationally recognized certificates, receive professional tools, and learn business skills to launch their careers.
Skills Development Centers: Our centers provide workspace and mentorship where artisans refine techniques, improve products, and access local markets.
Electrician Training (Somalia): Young men gain certified electrical skills with clear pathways to apprenticeships and employment.
Long-Term Results: Graduates secure stable income, launch businesses, and many become employers – strengthening local economies and expanding opportunity.

Vocational Training For Women And Youths In Syria
Your gift of $100 per beneficiary supports 1,000 orphaned children and 540 mothers across Northern Syria and Damascus with digital literacy, vocational training, and computer skills through the Ghiras An-Noor Academy - giving vulnerable families the tools to build lasting independence.
Vocational Training For Women And Youths In Jordan
Your gift of $1,400 per beneficiary supports vulnerable women and youth across Amman, Jerash, and Madaba in sewing, handicrafts, and culinary arts through the JHCO Arzaq 2026 program - equipping them with marketable skills for lasting economic independence.
Your gift of $1,600 per student trains youth ages 16–30 as certified electricians in Las-Anod through a program that includes hands-on apprenticeships and professional starter toolkits - building a skilled workforce for Somalia's future.
Looking to make your impact felt beyond borders? HDF’s Horizons for Humanity service trips are immersive, weeklong experiences where volunteers come face to face with the realities of poverty, displacement, and resilience in countries like Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, and Egypt.
Participants will engage in hands on humanitarian projects, from food and water distribution to supporting children with disabilities and helping orphans. These trips are designed not just to serve, but to educate, connect, and inspire lasting advocacy.
