What Remains,
When We Do Not

Some gifts end the moment we do. Others do not. A well still runs. A child still learns. A family still eats, season after season, long after the hand that gave has gone still. This is what our faith calls Sadaqah Jariyah, and it is still yours to begin.

When a person dies, their deeds end, except for three: useful knowledge left behind, a righteous child who prays for them, and a charity whose reach outlives its giver.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

A final act of worship, written while the hand can still write it.

There is a moment every soul must face, when the deeds of a lifetime come to rest. The Qur’an speaks to this same moment. It calls on believers, as death draws near, to leave a portion of what they have for those still in need. A will, then, is not only paperwork. It is a final act of worship.

A legacy gift here is one way to answer that call. It takes what would have ended with you, and lets it continue.

Give What Lasts
How It Continues

Three ways to begin, and nothing asked of you today.

Legacy giving begins simply: naming HDF and Shariawiz in your will, your trust, or as a beneficiary of a retirement account or life insurance policy. The gift waits, quietly, for its time.

STEP 1

Name HDF in your will or trust

Some choose a fixed amount. Others leave a share of their estate, often up to one third, following the same guidance that shapes Islamic inheritance.

STEP 2

Or make HDF a beneficiary

Name HDF and Shariawiz on a retirement account or life insurance policy. It costs nothing now and can be updated at any time.

STEP 3

Let it wait for its time

You need not be wealthy to leave this behind. You need only decide that it should continue.

A gift like this does not go to an idea. It goes to a place, and then to a person.

You may choose where your legacy settles, or you may let it move wherever the need is greatest.
