Hot meals reach families in crisis zones every single day, replacing fear and emptiness with warmth and nourishment.
From Gaza’s besieged neighborhoods to Sudan’s crowded camps, hunger stalks every home. Parents often skip meals so their children can eat. Malnutrition weakens bodies and minds, making even small illnesses dangerous. Without regular food, families lose strength, dignity and hope.
HDF’s Response:
Through our One Ummah, One Plate initiative, we deliver ready to eat hot meals to families who have no kitchen, no supplies and no safety. We operate mobile meal trucks that bring food directly into displacement zones. During Ramadan and sacred days we provide communal Iftars at Al Aqsa and in camps, turning hunger into a moment of togetherness and faith.
What We’ve Done So Far:
Our food security programs reach 3 million people every month. In Gaza alone, 3,000 hot meals are served daily to families trapped by conflict. At Masjid Al Aqsa we provided 2,100 meals during Ramadan and on the Day of Arafah, allowing worshippers to break their fasts with dignity.
What You Can Do to Help:
For $10 you can feed a person in crisis with a hot meal. For $300 you can provide an entire month of hot meals for a family. Your gift becomes the meal they were praying for today.
