Morocco is navigating a humanitarian landscape, made more challenging by devastating earthquakes that left entire communities shattered. Families lost their homes, livelihoods, and loved ones in the blink of an eye, and many are still struggling to rebuild. In rural and remote areas, where infrastructure was already fragile, the destruction has been particularly severe, leaving families without access to basic necessities like clean water, food, and healthcare.

The harsh winters in the Atlas Mountains have only compounded the crisis, forcing displaced families to face freezing temperatures without proper shelter or warmth. Despite these immense challenges, the resilience of Morocco’s people is unwavering, but they need urgent support to rebuild their lives and recover from this tragedy.

Earthquake Devastation: The earthquakes caused widespread destruction, leaving entire villages in ruins and families displaced. Many survivors are now living in makeshift shelters, exposed to the elements and struggling to meet their basic needs.

Harsh Winters: In the Atlas Mountains and other remote areas, winter brings freezing temperatures that make survival even more difficult for displaced families. Without proper shelter, warm clothing, or heating, families are at risk of cold-related illnesses and further hardships.

Health Challenges: The earthquake damaged critical healthcare infrastructure, leaving communities without access to essential medical services. Mothers, children, and the elderly are especially vulnerable as they face growing health risks with limited resources.

Food and Water Insecurity: Access to clean water and food is a daily challenge for families in affected regions. Many have lost their livelihoods, and disrupted supply chains make it even harder to secure basic necessities.

Emergency Shelter: We are providing safe, insulated shelters for families who have lost their homes, making sure they have protection from the harsh winter weather.

Winter Relief: Distributing essential winter supplies, including warm clothing, blankets, and heating resources, to help families survive freezing temperatures.

Healthcare Access: Supporting medical efforts by providing essential supplies, equipment, and mobile health units to reach communities in need.

Food and Clean Water: Delivering food packages to sustain families in affected areas and installing water solutions to ensure access to safe drinking water.

Rebuilding Communities: Working to rebuild homes, schools, and critical infrastructure to restore a sense of stability and hope for displaced families.
