Lebanon Emergency Relief
Responding to a Nation in Crisis
Lebanon is under severe distress due to ongoing hostilities. As of July 31st, 2024, intense offensives have penetrated up to 62 miles from the southern border. The destruction of water, electricity, and telecommunications infrastructure, as well as roads in southern Lebanon, is extensive. Tragically, maintenance and repair workers have been killed and injured while trying to restore essential services. Medics and first responders are also at risk as they strive to aid the area’s remaining residents.
The Human Development Fund (HDF) has supported over one million refugees in Turkey and Jordan.
Lebanon is facing an unprecedented humanitarian and economic crisis, affecting millions of refugees and vulnerable people across the country. Basic necessities like food have become a struggle for families, many of whom have lost their jobs or are unable to meet the skyrocketing cost of living. This is a critical moment where we must step in to help.
Human Development Fund (HDF) is launching an emergency relief campaign to provide food parcels to families in desperate need. These food parcels will alleviate hunger and bring some relief to the financial burdens they face every day.
