Yet, many families continue to struggle to rebuild their lives, with limited opportunities and rising costs making survival an uphill battle.

Beyond the refugee crisis, Turkiye has become a beacon of hope for migrants seeking a better future, even as resources stretch thin. Earlier this year, tragedy struck when two massive earthquakes shook the nation, leaving entire communities shattered and countless families grieving the loss of loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.

The resilience and compassion of Turkiye’s people shine through, but the scale of these crises demands urgent and continued support to ensure a brighter future for all who call this land home.

Ongoing Displacement: Millions of refugee families in Turkiye, many of whom have been displaced for over a decade, continue to live in overcrowded shelters or underserved urban areas. These families face daily struggles to access food, clean water, healthcare, and employment, with many relying entirely on humanitarian aid to survive.

Migrants in Need: Turkiye has also become a major destination and transit point for migrants fleeing conflict and instability. Many arrive with nothing after enduring dangerous journeys, only to face uncertainty, limited shelter, and scarce access to basic services. Without adequate support, these individuals remain vulnerable and at risk.

Earthquake Aftermath: The devastating earthquakes that struck Turkiye earlier this year left entire communities in ruins. Families are still grieving lost loved ones and working to rebuild their lives amid widespread destruction. As winter approaches, the need for safe shelter, warmth, and essential resources has become even more urgent.

Shelter and Safety: We are helping families rebuild by providing shelter for those displaced by the earthquakes and refugee crises. Warm, secure shelters give families a safe place to rest, heal, and start a new life.

Food and Nutrition: We deliver essential food packages to families who have lost everything, making sure they have access to the basic staples needed to survive and regain their strength. These packages provide not just sustenance, but a sense of stability in the midst of chaos.

Access to Clean Water: In both urban areas and remote camps, we are working to provide clean drinking water to communities in desperate need. By improving access to safe water, we help protect families from waterborne illnesses and make sure their health and dignity are safe.

Support for Children: Children are among the most vulnerable in this crisis. We are working on providing access to education, even in the most difficult circumstances, by supporting schools and providing learning materials. Education gives these children the tools they need to dream beyond survival and build a brighter future.

Healthcare Support: We provide essential medical supplies and support mobile health units so that families have access to critical healthcare services. From treating injuries sustained in the earthquakes to providing care for chronic conditions, our work is helping to restore health and hope to those in need.
