Rooted at home.
Reaching the World.
Building stronger communities locally to create lasting humanitarian impact globally.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, "The best of people are those that are the most beneficial to the ones around them.
— Sunan Abī Dāwūd 1681, also in al-Nasāʾī
True global impact starts close to home
At HDF, our mission has always been to do humanitarian work differently empowering children and communities in the most vulnerable conditions to break the cycle of poverty and build lasting self-sufficiency.
For years, that mission has taken us to over 27 countries around the world. But true global impact starts close to home. We believe that the same commitment we bring abroad must also show up in our own backyards — because no community should be overlooked, no matter how near.
That’s why we’re building a sustainable, grassroots domestic foundation — one rooted in local connection, driven by community, and designed to grow movements that ripple far beyond borders.
Five Pillars of Our Domestic Work
