Our Response
HDF is dedicated to providing life-saving assistance and support to the people of Somalia. Our efforts focus on:
Healthcare Services: Strengthening healthcare facilities with essential medical supplies and personnel, and conducting health campaigns to prevent and treat diseases.
Food Assistance: Distributing food supplies to families facing severe food insecurity and supporting agricultural programs to improve food production and resilience.
Education: Supporting educational programs for children and youth, providing school supplies, and ensuring access to quality education despite the challenging circumstances.
Water and Sanitation: Rehabilitating water infrastructure, providing clean drinking water, and promoting good hygiene practices to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases.
Water Tanks
For just $100, you can provide a water tank to a village suffering from severe drought. Your support ensures access to clean and safe drinking water for families in need.
Food Insecurity
Basic Package ($75): Feeds 1 family for 1 month (includes rice, flour, sugar, oil, dates, beans).
Community Package ($375): Feeds 5 families for 1 month.
Sustaining Hope Package ($1,000): Feeds 13 families for 1 month.
Orphan Back To School
For $30, you can equip an orphan with essential school supplies, including a book bag, exercise books, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, exam paper, and other stationary items tailored to their school year.
Winter Warmth
For just $50, you can provide warm clothing and supplies to help a vulnerable person survive the harsh winter conditions. Your contribution offers comfort and protection during the coldest months.
Shelter Tent
For $100, you can provide a temporary shelter tent for internally displaced families living in harsh conditions. Your support offers them safety, security, and dignity during difficult times.
WASH - Hygiene Kits
