Primary Education: Building Foundations for Tomorrow
Education is a lifeline for children facing disruption and hardship. Whether displaced by conflict or lacking resources, thousands of children need stable learning environments to grow and thrive.
Temporary Schools in Gaza: HDF supports displaced children in Gaza by providing safe classrooms, learning materials, psychosocial support, and recreational activities. At $850 per child annually, we help students regain normalcy and rebuild their futures one lesson at a time.
Back to School Programs: HDF ensures children return to school prepared and confident. We provide essential supplies, uniforms, and resources to remove barriers to education and give students the tools they need to succeed. To date, we’ve equipped over 4,000 students to continue their education without financial strain.
Why Primary Education Matters: Early education creates lasting impact. By investing in children’s foundational years, we equip them with skills, stability, and hope – building stronger communities for generations to come.

Challenges of Gaza’s displaced children
In Gaza, thousands of children have been displaced by conflict. Their lives have been upended, leaving them without access to education, safety, or stability. These children face:
-
Interrupted education:
Schools have been destroyed, disrupting their path to learning and growth
-
Psychological distress:
Conflict has taken a severe emotional toll, leaving them in need of mental and emotional support.
-
Lack of safe spaces:
Without safe environments to learn and play, these children remain vulnerable to further harm.
Your support is essential in helping these children regain the opportunity for education, healing, and a brighter future. Donate today to give Gaza’s displaced children the education and care they need to thrive
Empowering Gaza students
At HDF, we are committed to changing the future of displaced children in Gaza through education. Thousands of children have lost access to schooling due to the ongoing conflict, and their futures are at risk.
Through our Education for Gaza Project, we are creating safe, nurturing spaces where these children can learn, grow, and regain a sense of normalcy. We provide access to core education, psychosocial support, and recreational activities to ensure their mental, emotional, and academic well-being.
By supporting this project, you can make an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of these vulnerable children. For $850 per year, you can sponsor the education and care of a child giving them hope, stability, and the tools they need to build a brighter future.

A backpack. A uniform. A pencil case. For many children, these simple items are the difference between getting an education and never having the chance at all.
