ENT Surgeries
Hearing Hope: Transforming Lives Through ENT Surgeries in Kenya
At the Dadaab refugee complex in Kenya, hope is taking root. Alhamdulillah, in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Human Development Fund (HDF) has successfully facilitated over 230 ENT surgeries for refugee children, giving them a chance at a healthier and brighter future.
Why ENT Surgeries Matter: ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) conditions can significantly impact a child’s ability to learn, communicate, and thrive. For many children in Dadaab, untreated ENT issues cause chronic pain, hearing loss, or life-threatening infections. These surgeries don’t just treat physical ailments; they restore dignity, confidence, and hope for a better tomorrow.

Empowering Gaza student
At HDF, we are committed to changing the future of displaced children in Gaza through education. Thousands of children have lost access to schooling due to the ongoing conflict, and their futures are at risk.
Through our Education for Gaza Project, we are creating safe, nurturing spaces where these children can learn, grow, and regain a sense of normalcy. We provide access to core education, psychosocial support, and recreational activities to ensure their mental, emotional, and academic well-being.
By supporting this project, you can make an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of these vulnerable children. For $850 per year, you can sponsor the education and care of a child—giving them hope, stability, and the tools they need to build a brighter future.
