ENT Surgeries
Hearing Hope:
ENT Surgeries in Kenya
In partnership with UNHCR, HDF has provided over 230 ear, nose, and throat surgeries for refugee children at Kenya’s Dadaab complex.
The Problem: Chronic ear infections, enlarged tonsils, and blocked airways cause hearing loss, constant pain, and difficulty breathing. For children in refugee camps, these treatable conditions go untreated – affecting their ability to learn, communicate, and simply be kids.
The Solution: Simple surgeries like draining fluid from ears, removing infected tonsils, or clearing airways can solve these problems completely.
The Impact: For $305, one surgery can restore a child’s hearing, end chronic pain, and give them their voice back.
These quick procedures change lives – helping children who’ve already lost so much finally thrive.

Empowering Gaza student
At HDF, we are committed to changing the future of displaced children in Gaza through education. Thousands of children have lost access to schooling due to the ongoing conflict, and their futures are at risk.
Through our Education for Gaza Project, we are creating safe, nurturing spaces where these children can learn, grow, and regain a sense of normalcy. We provide access to core education, psychosocial support, and recreational activities to ensure their mental, emotional, and academic well-being.
By supporting this project, you can make an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of these vulnerable children. For $850 per year, you can sponsor the education and care of a child—giving them hope, stability, and the tools they need to build a brighter future.
