The Problem
The hospital can't be reached. The need can't wait.
Displaced families in Sudan and Gaza face the same brutal gap: the nearest hospital is overcrowded, far away, or financially out of reach, while their health needs — maternal care, chronic disease, injuries, malnutrition — can’t wait. Damaged infrastructure and constant displacement mean healthcare has to come to people, not the other way around.
These structures put care where the need is greatest — inside the camp, not hours away.
The Solution
Clinics embedded in the camp.
HDF operates temporary and semi-permanent health structures embedded directly in displacement camps and underserved areas — staffed clinics and mobile caravans offering outpatient care, maternal health services, chronic disease management, and emergency stabilization, all free at the point of care.

Al-Amin Clinic
Inside Alafad Camp, home to 3,000+
families displaced by the conflict in El Fasher, HDF is establishing the Al-Amin Clinic — a 24/7 emergency health center offering trauma stabilization, maternal and neonatal care, chronic disease management, and referral coordination.

Hijazi Primary Health Care Center
HDF is building a new, permanent primary health care center in Gaza in coordination with the Ministry of Health. The new Hijazi Primary Health Care Center in North Gaza will provide essential primary healthcare services to approximately 200 patients every day. The clinic will include general medical care, nursing, pharmacy, maternal and reproductive health services, helping families in surrounding residential areas and camps access care closer to home.
