Where Care Has Collapsed, We Carry Healing

Mobile clinics, essential medicines and life changing surgeries bring hope where hospitals no longer stand.

Problem:

Across Gaza, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia and Kenya hospitals and clinics are overwhelmed or destroyed. Pregnant mothers walk for hours only to find no doctor. Children endure infections and injuries that would be minor elsewhere but become life threatening in a war zone. Families cannot afford simple treatments, let alone specialised surgeries. In these settings even a fever or a wound can mean the difference between life and death.

HDF’s Response:

HDF works to restore access to health where it has disappeared. Our mobile and stationary clinics move into neighbourhoods that no longer have functioning hospitals, providing emergency care, vaccines and chronic disease medication. We equip teams to deliver trauma kits, primary care and psychosocial support for children who have endured unimaginable stress. We fund and organise life changing surgeries like cataract operations, cleft lip repair and ENT procedures so people can see, speak and walk again, breaking the cycle of disability and despair.

What We’ve Done So Far

  • 3,000 daily meals in Gaza paired with emergency clinics
  • 230 ENT surgeries performed in Kenya’s Dadaab Refugee Camp with UNHCR
  • Hospital rehabilitation in Sudan:
    • Children’s nutrition ward at $31,716
    • Maternity hospital epoxy and painting at $21,848
    • Haj Alsafi solar installation at $29,945
    • Al Thawra Health Center renovation at $9,999

What You Can Do to Help

  • $150 underwrites a vulnerable patient’s treatment
  • $600 restores sight through a cataract surgery in Gaza
  • $560 provides a prosthetic limb and rehabilitation in Yemen

Your support puts healing back into people’s hands and returns dignity to families who have lost so much.

Empowering Gaza student

At HDF, we are committed to changing the future of displaced children in Gaza through education. Thousands of children have lost access to schooling due to the ongoing conflict, and their futures are at risk.

Through our Education for Gaza Project, we are creating safe, nurturing spaces where these children can learn, grow, and regain a sense of normalcy. We provide access to core education, psychosocial support, and recreational activities to ensure their mental, emotional, and academic well-being.

By supporting this project, you can make an immediate and lasting impact on the lives of these vulnerable children. For $850 per year, you can sponsor the education and care of a child—giving them hope, stability, and the tools they need to build a brighter future.
