HDF MyGiving is a donor portal designed to bring your donation records, available receipts, and supported campaigns into one place.
To begin, visit mygiving.hdfund.org and enter the email address you used when donating. MyGiving sends a one-time code to that address, so you do not need to create or remember a password.
What you can do in MyGiving
After signing in, you can:
- Review donations associated with your email, including the date, amount, campaign or project, payment method, channel, and status
- Download PDF receipts for individual donations
- Generate available annual tax receipts by year
- See giving totals and recent activity on your dashboard
- Explore campaigns, revisit projects you have supported, and subscribe to available updates
- Use HDF’s Zakat calculator and donation flow
- Request profile changes or contact donor support
MyGiving states that donation history is deduplicated and refreshed within 24 hours. Recent gifts may therefore take time to appear.
Receipts when you need them
MyGiving separates individual donation receipts from annual tax receipts. An individual receipt confirms a specific gift; the tax-receipt area lets eligible users generate an available annual document for a selected year.
Keep the wording precise: a receipt is a record, not personal tax advice. Donors with questions about eligibility or filing should consult a qualified tax professional. If a receipt is missing or cannot be generated, use HDF’s Donor Support service.
Stay connected to supported campaigns
The portal includes campaign pages with available statistics, milestones, and media. Donors can see campaigns they have supported and subscribe to updates where that option is available.
This is different from claiming that every donation has a personalized impact report. HDF should describe project reporting only to the level currently available in each campaign.
Built for clearer donor access
MyGiving is part of HDF’s effort to make donor records easier to access. HDF’s privacy policy says personal information may be used to process donations, issue receipts, communicate updates, and improve services. It also describes reasonable safeguards, including encryption and secure hosting.
HDF should publish a short MyGiving help page covering which donations appear, how records are matched to an email address, how to report missing or duplicate gifts, receipt availability by country, and how donors can request access, correction, or deletion of personal information.
