Lebanon’s Humanitarian Catastrophe: A Call for Urgent Action

as-Salamu’alaykum,

We pray this message finds you in good health and strong faith. Lebanon is in the grip of an escalating humanitarian catastrophe. In the past week alone, intense airstrikes have devastated entire neighborhoods, with over 82 people killed and more than 3,000 wounded.

On September 23, Lebanon endured one of the deadliest days of conflict in years, with 558 people killed in a single day, including 50 children and 94 women. Hospitals are overwhelmed, homes are destroyed, and families are left struggling for survival.

At times of crisis, many of you turn to HDF, trusting us to bring aid to those who need it most. We don’t take this responsibility lightly. We know that when you give, you’re not just making a donation—you’re entrusting us to be a lifeline for families in their darkest hour. It’s a trust we honor with every action we take.

The Human Development Fund (HDF) has launched an emergency response to provide essential relief to Lebanon. We are distributing:

• Food aid to ensure families don’t go hungry.
• Clean water and hygiene kits to prevent the spread of disease.
• Medical supplies for thousands of wounded individuals.
• Emergency shelter for families displaced by the destruction.

These efforts are crucial as the situation continues to deteriorate, with over 75% of the population pushed into poverty. The health system is on the verge of collapse.

How You Can Help:
Your support can make a life-saving difference.

By contributing to our Lebanon Emergency Relief Fund, you are directly helping families and refugees access food and essentials in their time of need.

Donation Packages:

$250: Feeds 5 families with essential food supplies
$500Supports 10 families with critical food aid
$2,000: Provides food security for 40 families in need

Your donations will go directly toward delivering food parcels that contain essential items such as rice, sugar, lentils, pasta, and cooking oil, all carefully selected to sustain families in crisis.

Why Donate With HDF?

• 10,000 Beneficiaries: We are committed to supporting over 10,000 refugees and families in Lebanon who are suffering the most.

• Proven Impact: Every parcel you help fund provides a family with much-needed food, easing the strain of Lebanon’s ongoing crisis.
• Accountability: Our team ensures full transparency with media coverage and reporting so you can see the impact of your generosity.

Please take a moment to make duaa for the people of Lebanon, and while we do so, let us not forget our brothers and sisters in Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, Syria, and all other regions facing unimaginable hardship.

Our Ummah is one body, and when one part suffers, we all feel the pain. Together, we can stand in solidarity, offering not only our prayers but also our support.

May Allah ﷻ bring ease to the oppressed and give us the strength to continue our efforts in providing relief. Ameen.

Jazakum Allah Khayr for your compassion, concern and supplications.
