Pakistan Floods Emergency Response: Standing with Families in Crisis
When homes vanish in a night and bridges crumble into rivers, families are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. On July 25th, Northern Pakistan was devastated by floods of historic scale and it has only continued to grow by the day. Parents are searching for missing children, families are huddled in makeshift shelters and once-thriving communities are now unrecognizable.

Families Facing Unimaginable Loss
It is easy to feel overwhelmed by numbers, but behind every statistic is a family that could be yours or mine. They’ve lost their homes, their children’s school and their livelihood all at once.
In a district known as Buner alone, the destruction is staggering:
- 401 lives lost and 671 people injured
- 2,300 homes completely destroyed and 413 partially damaged
- 4,054 livestock swept away, cutting families off from their livelihoods
- 6 government schools and 2 police stations submerged
- 3 hospitals partially damaged, leaving communities without care
- Hundreds of shops and bridges reduced to rubble
These families are not faceless victims. They are mothers, fathers and children enduring unimaginable loss with no safety net to fall back on.

What We Are Doing Together
When disaster strikes, your generosity is the first lifeline families receive. HDF teams are already on the ground, preparing hot meals and bottled water for immediate distribution. Every step we take is powered by your giving. Families are also receiving essential items like kitchen utensils, soap and hygiene supplies, the small things that restore a sense of normalcy in the middle of chaos.
What Your Mercy Delivers
You may be wondering what your donation actually puts into the hands of a family. HDF is setting up three medical camps to deliver urgent healthcare for families who can no longer reach damaged hospitals and clinics. These camps will offer treatment for injuries, essential medicines and care for children and the elderly who are most at risk.

Additionally, families will receive HDF Aid Packages, each designed with care, carrying both sustenance and dignity to those who have lost everything. Each HDF Package contains:
- 5 kg of rice
- 1 kg each of lentils, oil, onions, salt and sugar
- 1 kg flattened rice and 1 kg puffed rice
- 2 liters of clean water
- Acetaminophen, soap and laundry detergent
This is more than food and hygiene. It is a meal on the table for a hungry child, medicine for a fever and the hope of knowing they are not forgotten.
What Your Support Can Mean Today
It is natural to feel small in the face of such a disaster, but your giving is not small to the families who receive it. Fifty dollars can protect a family tonight. A larger gift can protect entire communities. Every dollar stretches further than you imagine when it turns into food, water and shelter for people who are holding on with nothing else.
And giving is not the only way you can help. By sharing this campaign with your friends and family, you extend the circle of mercy and invite others to stand with you. By raising awareness in your community, you remind people that Pakistan is not alone in its suffering. Every conversation, every repost, every prayer adds strength to this response. Together, these small actions create a movement of compassion strong enough to carry them through this crisis.

A Call to Compassion
When disaster leaves families with nothing, our actions are what reminds them that they are not alone. This is your chance to be the answer to a prayer, to put food in a child’s hands, clean water in a mother’s jug and hope back into a community.
We are deeply grateful for every act of kindness you choose to give. Your support restores dignity, revives hope and reminds families in Pakistan that their Ummah has not forgotten them. May Allah ﷻ accept your charity, ease the suffering of our brothers and sisters and make you a source of relief and light in their darkest hour.
