After two years of unimaginable devastation, Gaza is beginning a long and fragile road to recovery.Despite the ceasefire, the scale of humanitarian aid entering Gaza remains far below what is needed. According to Reuters, nearly 400,000 people in northern Gaza have gone without essential aid for weeks, while access through key crossings remains heavily restricted. The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that Gaza has recorded its highest-ever monthly number of acutely malnourished children with nearly 12,000 children under the age of five suffering from acute malnutrition, including 2,500 in life-threatening condition. WHO has confirmed that famine is now present in Gaza City and the northern governorates, where families are surviving on as little as one meal every two or three days.In the face of this reality, the Human Development Fund (HDF) is launching Rebuild Gaza, a commitment to care for families now and help them rebuild when access allows. This is not a crisis of the future. It is a crisis of this very moment.Phase One: Relief for TodayWe are delivering what is possible now including meals, clean water, medical kits, baby formula, hygiene supplies, food parcels, and temporary shelter.Every meal served and every drop delivered keeps a family alive another day.Phase Two: Restoring TomorrowWhen access allows, we will begin rebuilding homes, schools, and hospitals, clearing rubble, and restoring energy and vital infrastructure, rebuilding lives brick by brick, not just walls. We remain transparent and accountable with every project, every delivery, and every result. We refuse to let Gaza’s story be one of abandonment.Because Gaza cannot wait.Because humanity cannot look away.Stand with Gaza. Help Gaza rise again.Bismillah.gaza.hdfund.org
